Gavin Hulme
Gavin has been involved with the audio visual and live production industry for many years, starting at the School of Audio Engineering, London UK, in 1990. In the early 90’s he returned to Australia to tour with National and International acts, throughout the country and overseas. Choosing to settle down in Geelong, Gavin accepted a position at the Geelong Performing Arts Centre where he soon became Head of the Technical Department for over five years. After this he worked on major installation projects and sales for an audio and lighting company. Bringing over 25 years of experience and knowledge, Gavin is now one of our key project managers and system designers.
Trent Young
For over 15 years Trent has been working with audio, lighting and visual systems for both live events and permanent installations. A strong interest in electronics and radio broadcasting inspired Trent to study electronics and saw him appointed as a broadcast technician for the Grant Broadcasters commercial radio network at Bay FM and K-Rock in Geelong. For six years he worked across the country managing installation work, maintenance and after hours support for a range of radio stations. With the vast diversity of skills his years of experience has brought, Trent now oversees much of MultiTek’s business management and is a project manager for many projects.
Shane Haugh
Shane’s background in the theatre and entertainment industry spans over 10 years. After studying a Diploma of Entertainment in live production at the University of Ballarat, he immediately began working for many arts centres and production companies throughout Victoria. He also decided to explore life on the road as the touring lighting designer for Xavier Rudd. Shortly thereafter he was appointed as a technical supervisor at the Geelong Performing Arts Centre where he spent seven years. During Shane's years in the industry he has gained a wealth of knowledge relating to all aspects of the theatre and live entertainment. With this essential knowledge and experience Shane fulfills a vital role in overseeing the theatrical arm of MultiTek Solutions.
Stefan Maric
Stefan is currently undertaking his third year in Certificate III in Electronics at RMIT and has been a part of Multitek Solution’s installation team since 2008. He can add the completion of a VET (Vocational Educational Training) in Electro Technology and an Audio Technology course to his academic repertoire. Stefan’s passion and enthusiasm for all aspects in audio visual demonstrate his competence and proficiency in the practical side of all Multitek Solution’s projects.
Rowan Mickan
Rowan joined Multitek Solution’s at the start of 2010, coming on as a 1st year apprentice in Certificate III in Electronics at RMIT. After completing high school last year, Rowan was keen to take on a career in his passion of music and audio visual. Rowan values the experience and circumstances of working with other employees, learners, mentors and supervisors.
